The way we look at certain things in LIFE

Today, I could find some time to read. I was reading sitting near the window. It was a beautiful evening with fresh and chilly breeze flowing. The time should be around close to 6pm. Just then I noticed some fumes arising from a nearby place. I quickly got up to see what was creating fumes. I noticed that two men were busy gathering the dried up leaves and burning them. Their intention was to clear off the place with all the clutter around made by the dried up leaves.

My mind took a leap and started thinking. I could observe that there were leaves that had dried up and had fallen on the ground, there were some other leaves dried up but still hanging to the branch of the tree and then there were the fresh green leaves as well. As I watched them, my mind started thinking about the whole scenario in a different way. It related the dry and fallen leaves to those people who have completed their journey on mother earth and are now beginning their next journey. The leaves that were dried and still remained attached to the branch were being thought of as those people who are on the verge of completing their journey and are watching those who have already completed. These leaves (people) have some regrets and some have happiness about whatever they faced and achieved in their life. The green leaves were thought of as those who are enjoying their life and may dry up anytime. But they are enjoying as if they would never dry up and never fall down. Just before, I could finish thinking, my mind switched to yet another kind of thought which said something like this. Think of the dry and fallen leaves as those bad qualities that you had and you eradicated them. Now think of the dried leaves that are still on the branch as those qualities which you want to eradicate and nullify them as soon as you can. And now think of those fresh green leaves as those good qualities that you have and you would want to preserve them throughout your life.

I could sense that my mind thought about the scenario in two different ways and I feel that both the thoughts have some lessons for me. Have you ever experienced such kind of thoughts? Do tell me.

very nice thought..
perhaps being a green leave i would like to ask dried leave that

what things would u like to do again in dufferent way that u regret now?,
which moments makes u cry?,
which moments makes u smile?,
....
if u were given a chance to be green again,so that
we avoid all those mistakes and make others happy,
and our journey would end peacefully without much regrets about life..

I wold relate all those LEAVES to KNOWLEDGE. Those that are fallen are outdated and we have let them go. Those which are dried but yet to fall are about to be forgotten by us, because that knowledge is outdated and may not be useful in current or future scenario.
The green leaves will oneday have to be dry and we should be again happy to let them go also.
But most important is keeping on growing more and more fresh, young green leaves to keep the tree alive.
